Growing up as a child I have always loved all types of animals – dogs, cats, and small animals. I aspired to become a veterinarian, and studied arts and sciences at the University of Guelph. While working part time at a dog grooming salon, I realized I loved that I was able to combine the arts and my love for animals – with dog grooming! I then pursued this interest by attending Pampered Paws Grooming School located in Toronto to get my Professional Animal Stylist certificate in 2013. I have a keeshond named Nova who you might see when you come to visit Poochies Paradise.

Nova is a keeshond whose sole purpose in life is to eat, sleep, and snuggle. She’s quiet until there’s a vistor at the door and she has the most gentle soul.

Unfortunately our beloved Bella has crossed over rainbow bridge and is no longer with us. We know many clients and kids passing by our shop will miss her sweet nature and funny antics as much as we do. Thank you for the kids who love to come visit and say hi to her over the years.
